Sandcastle was designed on a sandy site with beautiful south shore views, at Marley Beach, yet strategically designed to isolate itself from the vacation homes surrounding it.

Sandcastle was designed by OBM in conjunction with Hartley Watlington creating a historic presence on the water side, with interiors completed by OBM including features such as antique beams and antique terracotta floors with a custom grand staircase in the entry foyer. The home is comprised of 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a full studio apartment in the basement. Special design features include deep wood burning fireplaces which accentuate the two main rooms in the house.
The house is strategically positioned to take advantage of the breathtaking views of the South Shore. The large windows and verandas were incorporated into the design to provide residents shelter and outdoor living.
The owner enjoyed similarly designed homes with a blend of classic architectural elements, modern construction techniques and amenities. Sandcastle achieves everything he wanted, a fusion of traditional Bermuda architectural elements with modern comfort and convenience, making it a unique and inviting place to live.
