JLT

After many years in the same building, JLT Group was looking to make a move. When the AIG Building on Richmond Road offered 7600 SF of space with full glass exterior, the decision was made. OBMI was called on to do the test fits and space planning to best accommodate JLT’s staff in their respective teams, and provide the variety of Boardroom and meeting rooms required along with staff break out amenities.

OBMI worked closely with JLT’s London-based Director of Facilities to comply with the preferred global branding – a neutral gray and white platform w/colour accents. With the natural light of the new space as the primary ornamentation, special LED feature pendants were selected for the meeting rooms, each carefully chosen to suit the character of the room.

An overall theme of intersecting lines is displayed in the herringbone pattern of the richly textured plank carpet tile, and echoed in the undulating swoops of the OBMI designed privacy film that wraps the fronts of all of the glass meeting rooms. A bright red back-painted glass backsplash compliments the 2 shades of gray wood plank in the large kitchen/break room. The final result is clean and crisp, modern and comfortable.
